Political relations tour
The QMA wants to defend the interests of the medical profession and convey your views to the political bodies. In the upcoming months, the association will be stepping up its efforts with elected officials by holding a series of meetings with MNAs and health care spokespersons.
There are many important issues at stake: overdiagnosis, interdisciplinary care, the way physicians are paid, medical assistance in dying, etc.
The QMA is the only organization that represents all members of the medical profession because it brings together specialists, general practitioners, residents and students. With its 10,500 members, it strives to be regarded as a preferred intermediary.
