Become an ambassador at the CMA’s 2017 General Council in Québec City!

Are you a student, resident or early-career physician with less than five years of experience? If so, you’re eligible for the Canadian Medical Association (CMA)’s 2017 Ambassador Program!

The CMA’s Ambassador Program is designed to train and engage early-career physicians so that they can become ambassadors and spokespeople for the Association and the medical profession as a whole.

The CMA will once again be sponsoring 10 students, 10 residents and 10 early-career physicians to attend the Annual Meeting and General Council in August. Quebec will be hosting the Assembly this year, so 50% of the chosen CMA ambassadors will come from the province. As in previous years, the CMA will cover the travel and lodging expenses, as well as tickets for special events, for the sponsored ambassadors. Because Quebec is hosting the event, all ambassadors chosen from the province will be automatically sponsored by the CMA.

Interested? Send in your application by March 31! The registration form can be found at The chosen ambassadors will be informed of their sponsorship at the end of April.

There’s not much time left, so don’t wait! Submit your application today!
