REFUGEE CAMP IN THE HEART OF QUÉBEC CITY

LIVE THE EXPERIENCE!

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) will be holding several recruitment events during its 4 city REFUGEE CAMP IN THE HEART OF THE CITY exhibit scheduled to set up camp in Quebec’s Place d’Youville from September 29th to October 3rd.

Would you like to work with MSF in the field? Both medical and non-medical professionals are invited to an afternoon recruitment information session in order to learn more about how they can join MSF’s pool of dedicated aid workers.  Participants will meet experienced MSF aid workers and hear their stories of life “in the field.” Together with a Recruitment Officer, they will discuss MSF requirements and the application process.  Other recruitment activities include specific refugee camp tours for potential fieldworkers as well as the screening of the feature MSF documentary “Living in Emergency”.

Documentary screening                      @ Thursday September 29th, 7:00 PM
Future fieldworker tours                      @ Saturday October 1st, 10:00 AM & 2:00 PM
Online webinar                         @ Saturday October 1st, 12:00 PM  (live from the camp!)
Recruitment information session          @ Sunday October 2nd, 2:00 PM

MSF is an international medical humanitarian organization working in more than 60 countries to assist people whose lives are threatened by conflict, neglect, disease or catastrophe. Every day, MSF aid workers from around the world provide lifesaving assistance to people affected by disaster, conflict, epidemics, or exclusion from healthcare. MSF works independently of political, religious or other motivations, delivering medical aid based on human need, often in difficult geographical or political contexts, where others cannot or choose not to go.
